Request a charter quote
Tell us where you are flying from and to, the dates and the party size. The quote depends on the aircraft category, flight time, where the nearest suitable aircraft is positioned and the airports at each end.
Every mission is quoted individually. No prices are published on this page, and no aircraft, slot or parking is held until it is confirmed by the operator and the authority.
Private flights across the United States
The United States has the largest business aviation network in the world, with thousands of public-use airports and dedicated private terminals (FBOs) in every major city. That means a private flight can usually land closer to where you are going than an airline can — a mountain resort, an island, a small regional airfield near a factory or a ranch.
MEGA arranges non-scheduled charter flights between any two US airports, subject to the airport's runway, operating hours and the aircraft's performance. There is no fixed network and no set routes: the aircraft is chosen for your trip.
Every flight is operated by a licensed US operator holding its own FAA Part 135 (or equivalent) certificate. MEGA coordinates the mission — aircraft sourcing, quote, FBO, catering and ground handling — and the operator is responsible for the flight itself.
Popular US charter markets
New York and its business aviation airports, South Florida, Los Angeles, Las Vegas and the Colorado ski resorts are among the most-requested markets. Coast-to-coast flights, Florida winter trips, Las Vegas events and ski-season flights to the Rockies make up a large share of domestic demand.
Each city page below explains the airports, FBO choices, seasonal pressure points and the aircraft that suit typical routes.
How a US charter is arranged
You send the route, dates, passengers and baggage. We check suitable aircraft with licensed US operators, confirm positioning, airport and FBO, and return a written quote that names the aircraft, the operator and what is included.
Once you accept the quote and contract, the operator confirms crew and aircraft, and our desk coordinates the FBO, catering and ground transport through to arrival. Changes are handled through one point of contact.
Typical US sectors
Flight times below are broad planning indications; actual time depends on aircraft type, winds, routing and air traffic. No prices are published.
- New York to Miami — Roughly two and a half to three hours on most business jets.
- New York to Los Angeles — Roughly five to six hours westbound against prevailing winds, less eastbound.
- Los Angeles to Las Vegas — Typically under an hour airborne.
- New York to Aspen — Roughly four to five hours; aircraft choice is shaped by Aspen's runway and wingspan limits.
- Miami to the Caribbean — Short international sectors to the Bahamas and beyond; customs is planned at both ends.
Aircraft for US flights
Most domestic missions are flown on light, midsize and super-midsize jets. Coast-to-coast with a full party, or onward international flights, point to heavy jets. Full specifications for each type are on the charter fleet pages.
- Light jet — Economical for small parties and short sectors such as Los Angeles to Las Vegas. Baggage space and range are the limits we check.
- Midsize and super-midsize jet — The most-requested categories for US business travel: a taller cabin, more baggage and non-stop range for most domestic sectors, including coast to coast on the larger super-midsize types.
- Heavy and ultra-long-range jet — For larger parties, overnight comfort, coast-to-coast with margin, or onward flights to Europe, the Middle East and Asia without a fuel stop.
- VIP airliner — BBJ and ACJ cabins for teams, delegations and touring productions travelling together.
Planning notes for US flights
FBOs and private terminals
Private flights in the US use FBOs — private terminals where you check in, board and meet your car. Most major airports have several; we choose the one that suits your timing and destination.
Seasonal pressure
Florida in winter, the ski resorts at Christmas and Presidents' Day, and major events in Las Vegas, Miami and New York tighten aircraft availability and FBO parking. Early requests widen the choice.
International connections
Flights onward to Europe, the Middle East or the Caribbean include customs and permits, which we plan with the operator. See our US to Europe and US to Middle East corridor pages.
Who you are flying with
The written quote names the operator. Safety ratings such as ARGUS or Wyvern belong to the operator and are confirmed at quotation.
Permits, slots, private terminal handling and the wider corridor picture are covered on our private jet charter pages, with aircraft detail on the fleet pages and a direct line to the desk on the quote page. Gulf corridors are covered on our US to Middle East charter hub.

Questions we are asked on this corridor
Can you arrange a private jet between any two US cities?
Yes. We arrange non-scheduled charter flights between any two US airports, subject to runway length, airport operating hours and aircraft performance. There is no fixed network.
How much does a private jet charter in the USA cost?
We do not publish a figure. The quote is built from the aircraft category, flight time, positioning, dates, passengers and baggage, airport and FBO fees, crew duty and any overnights. Every request is quoted individually and in writing.
How far in advance should I book a domestic charter?
As early as plans allow, particularly in peak seasons and around major events. Short-notice flights are often possible, with fewer aircraft to choose from.
Do I need ID for a domestic private flight?
Yes. Passengers should carry valid government-issued photo ID; operators follow TSA and FAA requirements for charter flights.
Who operates the aircraft?
Licensed third-party operators holding their own FAA Part 135 (or equivalent) air carrier certificates. Where a carrier holds a rating such as ARGUS, IS-BAO or Wyvern, that rating belongs to the operator and is confirmed at quotation. MEGA arranges and coordinates the flight; it does not hold an air operator certificate or claim those ratings itself.
