Request a charter quote

Send your dates and party size. In Miami the questions that shape the quote are which airport suits where you are staying, the season, and whether you are continuing to the Caribbean or overseas.

Every mission is quoted individually. No prices are published on this page, and no aircraft, slot or parking is held until it is confirmed by the operator and the authority.

Flying private to and from Miami

Miami combines a year-round business market with one of the strongest leisure seasons in the US. Winter brings a steady flow of flights from New York, the Northeast and Canada; spring and major events such as Art Basel, the Miami Grand Prix and boat shows bring peaks of their own.

South Florida has several business aviation airports rather than one, and the right choice depends on where you are going — Miami Beach, Brickell, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton or Palm Beach.

Miami is also a gateway: the Bahamas, the Caribbean, Mexico and Latin America are short international sectors, and long-range jets connect Miami non-stop with Europe.

How a US charter is arranged

You send the route, dates, passengers and baggage. We check suitable aircraft with licensed US operators, confirm positioning, airport and FBO, and return a written quote that names the aircraft, the operator and what is included.

Once you accept the quote and contract, the operator confirms crew and aircraft, and our desk coordinates the FBO, catering and ground transport through to arrival. Changes are handled through one point of contact.

Miami airports and typical sectors

Flight times are broad planning indications and vary with aircraft, winds and routing. No prices are published.

Aircraft for Miami flights

Light and midsize jets suit Florida and Caribbean hops; super-midsize and heavy jets suit the Northeast, the West Coast and transatlantic flights. Full specifications for each type are on the charter fleet pages.

Planning notes for Miami

Winter season

From December to April demand rises sharply, especially around the holidays. Early requests give more choice of aircraft and FBO parking.

Events

Art Basel Miami Beach, the Miami Grand Prix and major boat shows compress parking and slots. Plan these dates well ahead.

Caribbean onward legs

Flights to the Bahamas and Caribbean need passports and, for some destinations, advance notification. Re-entry to the US clears customs at an airport of entry.

Weather

Summer thunderstorms and the Atlantic hurricane season (June to November) can affect timing; operators plan around the forecast.

Permits, slots, private terminal handling and the wider corridor picture are covered on our USA private jet charter hub, with aircraft detail on the fleet pages and a direct line to the desk on the quote page. Gulf corridors are covered on our US to Middle East charter hub.

Questions we are asked on this corridor

Which Miami airport is best for private jets?

It depends on your destination. Opa-locka (OPF) is popular for Miami Beach; Fort Lauderdale Executive (FXE) for Broward; Palm Beach (PBI) for Palm Beach; MIA when airline connections or larger aircraft matter.

How much does a private jet charter from Miami cost?

We do not publish a figure. The quote is built from the aircraft category, flight time, positioning, dates, passengers and baggage, airport and FBO fees, crew duty and any overnights. Every request is quoted individually and in writing.

Can I fly private from Miami to the Bahamas?

Yes. It is a short international sector. Passengers need passports, and US customs is cleared on return at an airport of entry.

When is the busiest time to fly private to Miami?

Winter, particularly the holiday weeks, and major events such as Art Basel and the Miami Grand Prix.

Who operates the aircraft?

Licensed third-party operators holding their own FAA Part 135 (or equivalent) air carrier certificates. Where a carrier holds a rating such as ARGUS, IS-BAO or Wyvern, that rating belongs to the operator and is confirmed at quotation. MEGA arranges and coordinates the flight; it does not hold an air operator certificate or claim those ratings itself.
