Bombardier Business Jets: Charter and Ownership Guide

Bombardier builds two families that matter to charter buyers: the ultra-long-range Global series and the wide-cabin Challenger series. Learjet production ended in 2021, so those aircraft are legacy types.

Bombardier in the charter market

Origin: Canada — Global, Challenger and the discontinued Learjet lines.

Across the Gulf, Bombardier is one of the most frequently chartered manufacturers, and the reason is cabin geometry. Both current families offer a flat floor and 6 ft 1 in or better standing height, which changes how a five-hour flight feels compared with types that require passengers to stoop.

For long sectors — Gulf to East Asia, Gulf to North America — the Global 5500, 6500 and 7500 cover the mission without a fuel stop. For regional work, the Challenger 3500 and 650 carry a full cabin plus baggage on legs of three to five hours at a materially lower cost.

We arrange Bombardier aircraft through operators we have vetted; MEGA does not manufacture or represent Bombardier, and availability is confirmed per aircraft, per date.

Global series — ultra-long-range

Four-zone cabins, standing height, in-flight baggage access and non-stop intercontinental range.

Challenger series — wide cabin

The widest cabins in the midsize and large classes, popular for corporate and medical fits.

Learjet — discontinued

Production ended in 2021. Aircraft remain in service; no new deliveries exist.

How to read these figures

Published ranges and cabin dimensions are the manufacturer's maximum values and change with serial number, interior fit and operating conditions. Verify against https://bombardier.com/en/aircraft before relying on a figure for a specific mission.

MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
