Private aviation in Sweden
Stockholm has two relevant airports. Arlanda (ESSA/ARN) is the main gateway with business aviation handling and no practical night curfew, around 40 minutes from the centre. Bromma (ESSB/BMA) is far closer to the city and much faster door-to-door, but its shorter runway, published operating hours and noise limits mean type approval has to be confirmed before it can be offered.
Gothenburg Landvetter (ESGG/GOT) and Säve serve the west coast and the automotive and industrial cluster, Malmö (ESMS/MMX) covers Skåne with Copenhagen an easy alternative across the bridge, and Luleå (ESPA/LLA), Kiruna (ESNQ/KRN) and Åre Östersund (ESNZ/OSD) carry the Lapland and mountain season. Intra-Nordic day trips to Oslo, Copenhagen and Helsinki are the bread and butter of Swedish private flying.
Winter is the operational theme: de-icing capacity at peak morning hours, snow clearance, and very short daylight at northern fields. None of that stops flights, but it changes turnaround assumptions, and quoting a summer ground time in January is how schedules break.

Seasonal demand
Corporate flying peaks from September to June, with July quiet as the country takes holiday. The Lapland season runs December to March for northern lights, ice hotels and mountain resorts, and the west-coast archipelago draws summer traffic in July and August.
