Private Jet Charter in Syria
This is an operational page. Whether a Syrian flight can be arranged depends on the permits in force and operator acceptance at the time of booking.
Private aviation in Syria
Damascus International (OSDI/DAM) sits roughly 25 kilometres south-east of the capital and is the primary civil airport. Aleppo International (OSAP/ALP) serves the north and Latakia Bassel Al-Assad (OSLK/LTK) the coast. Handling, customs and fuel arrangements at each are confirmed for the specific date rather than assumed from previous trips.
Permits are the substance of any Syrian enquiry. Overflight and landing permits are filed by the operating AOC holder through the Syrian authorities, and lead times should be assumed in days rather than hours. Routing depends on which adjacent airspace is available at the time, and handler, customs and fuel hours are verified before an aircraft is committed.
We check operator willingness and the permit position before issuing anything, not afterwards. In many cases the more realistic plan remains a flight to Beirut or Amman with a road leg, and we will say so plainly rather than commit to a movement that cannot be permitted. No safety ratings, guarantees or assurances about access are offered on this page or in a quote.

Permits, slots, customs and handling
- Overflight and landing permits are filed by the operating AOC holder; lead times are days rather than hours and are not guaranteed.
- Access depends on the permits in force and operator acceptance at the time of booking, which is confirmed before anything is offered.
- Handler, customs, immigration and fuel hours are verified for the specific date rather than assumed.
- Regional routing depends on which adjacent airspace is available, so the flight plan is confirmed per movement.
Seasonal demand
Enquiries are practical rather than seasonal — family, business and organisational travel spread through the year, with some concentration around summer and holiday periods. Permit lead times, not weather or parking, are what determine the earliest workable date.

Frequently asked questions
Can you arrange a flight to Damascus?
It depends on the permits in force and operator acceptance for your dates. We check both before offering anything, and we will tell you plainly if a Beirut or Amman routing with a road leg is the realistic option.
How much notice is needed?
Days rather than hours. Overflight and landing permits are filed by the operating AOC holder and cannot be accelerated on request, so early enquiry materially improves the chances.
How long is Dubai to Damascus?
Around three hours on a midsize or super-midsize aircraft, subject to routing and winds. Beirut is roughly half an hour from Damascus by air and a short road journey.
How MEGA arranges the flight
