Helicopter Routes — Indicative Times and Operating Windows
City-pair rotary sectors we are asked for most often, with approximate distances, indicative flight times, the road comparison and the operating windows that decide whether a hop can be flown that day. Times are planning indications for a licensed operator's aircraft, never a schedule, and every sector depends on an operator accepting it with a suitable aircraft, crew and approved routing.

What governs a rotary hop
- Both cities sit inside dense controlled airspace; the routing and any city-pad approach are approved by the General Civil Aviation Authority and air traffic control.
- There is no published civil curfew on this sector, but city and hotel helipads commonly restrict movements to daytime hours under their own noise and security rules.
- Most VIP rotary work is planned in daylight; night flying depends on the operator's approval, the aircraft and lit landing sites at both ends.
- Winter fog is the most frequent cause of delay along this coast, most often in the early morning between December and March.
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
