Private Jet Charter in the Indian Ocean

Three island states, three different rhythms — the Maldives built on resort transfers, the Seychelles on Mahé arrivals, Mauritius on resorts and financial services — all long-haul markets where the jet is the easy part.

Private aviation across Indian Ocean

Every Indian Ocean itinerary is really two journeys: the long-haul sector in, and the transfer that completes it. In the Maldives that transfer is a daylight-only seaplane or a speedboat; in the Seychelles a boat, helicopter or light-aircraft leg; in Mauritius a 20-to-60-minute drive. The transfer window sets the jet schedule, so we plan the pair together rather than sequentially.

Each island has one jet gateway — Velana in Malé, Seychelles International on Mahé, SSR International in Mauritius — and each is well accustomed to heavy and ultra-long-range arrivals from the Gulf, Europe and Africa. What tightens in peak weeks is parking on compact aprons, not aircraft supply, and it is requested with the handling early.

The Gulf is the dominant origin market — Malé and Mahé around four to four and a half hours from Dubai, Mauritius around six and a half — with Europe eight to eleven hours nonstop depending on the island. The islands combine naturally with each other, with Sri Lanka, and with an East or South African safari on a single itinerary.
