Private Jet Charter Zermatt
Zermatt is car-free, so no private arrival ends at the door. The trip is always a combination: a jet into Sion (LSGS/SIR) or Geneva (LSGG/GVA), then the final leg by rail from Täsch or Visp, by chauffeur to the Täsch terminal, or by helicopter to Zermatt Heliport (LSEZ) when conditions and operator availability allow.
Flying privately to Zermatt
Sion is the closest practical jet field and gives the shortest ground leg up the Valais, but it is an Alpine airport: hours, weather and runway conditions in winter all matter, and it is not a place for open-ended assumptions. Geneva is the all-weather choice with full business-aviation infrastructure — the trade-off is a longer, though comfortable and very reliable, transfer up the Rhône valley.
The rotary leg is attractive and often the fastest finish, but it depends on daylight, mountain weather, a licensed operator accepting the flight and landing-site permission on the day. We plan it as a preferred option with the rail transfer held as the fallback, not the other way round.
Airports used for Zermatt charter
- LSGS / SIR — Sion Airport: Closest jet field to the Valais resorts; Alpine operating conditions and published hours
- LSGG / GVA — Geneva Airport: All-weather gateway with full executive handling; longer road or rail transfer
- LSEZ — Zermatt Heliport: Rotary arrival point inside the resort, subject to daylight, weather and operator acceptance
- LSZB / BRN — Bern Airport: Northern alternative when Sion and Geneva do not suit
Slots, permits and curfews
Sion has published operating hours, requires PPR for business-jet movements and can be affected by winter weather and runway conditions; Geneva is slot-coordinated and extremely busy in peak ski weeks, with parking the usual constraint rather than the slot. Helicopter legs are planned in daylight and remain weather-dependent.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
