Private Jet Charter London
London has four practical fields for private aviation and picking the right one is the single most important routing decision on any UK trip. Farnborough (FAB) is the default premium VIP airport — 40 minutes to Mayfair, no airline traffic, and a curfew that shapes late-evening arrivals from the GCC. Luton (LTN) is the workhorse — 24/7, no curfew, biggest ramp, but heaviest airline slot pressure. Biggin Hill (BQH) is fastest to the City and Canary Wharf but has a strict weekend curfew. Northolt (NHT) is RAF-operated and PPR-only.
Flying privately to London
MEGA prices all four fields on inbound quotes so the client sees the trade: FAB usually adds £3–6k in handling versus LTN but saves 20–30 minutes landside; BQH is best when the destination is East London or the City; NHT is only worth pursuing when the operator holds a slot allocation.
For Gulf-based clients most inbound arrivals are 22:00–02:00 local — that is exactly the FAB curfew window. Where a Farnborough curfew waiver is not viable, we default to Luton and coordinate chauffeur ahead of touchdown.
Airports used for London charter
- EGLF / FAB — Farnborough: Default VIP field — TAG-operated, 40 min to Mayfair
- EGGW / LTN — London Luton: 24/7, largest ramp, best availability
- EGKB / BQH — Biggin Hill: Fastest to City / Canary Wharf; weekend curfew
- EGWU / NHT — RAF Northolt: PPR-only, limited operator access
Ground handling for private movements is normally arranged through TAG Farnborough Airport (FAB), Signature Flight Support (LTN, FAB, BQH), Harrods Aviation (LTN, STN), confirmed per trip.
Slots, permits and curfews
FAB curfew 22:00–07:00 local (extended waivers rare); no curfew at LTN; BQH weekend curfew 21:00 Sat / 08:00–10:00 Sun. All London airports slot-coordinated year-round; late-evening arrival slots at LTN tighten meaningfully during Wimbledon, Chelsea Flower Show, Ascot and F1 British GP.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
