Private Jet Charter Portofino
Portofino has no airport — the harbour is reached from Genoa Cristoforo Colombo (LIMJ/GOA), the Ligurian capital's airport built on reclaimed land at the water's edge, followed by the coast road through Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure. It is one of the shorter airport-to-resort transfers in Italian luxury travel, and in summer it is also one of the most traffic-sensitive, so arrival timing is part of the plan rather than an afterthought.
Flying privately to Portofino
Genoa is a straightforward field for business aviation: a proper runway, executive handling and none of the slot pressure of Milan or Nice. Its position does two useful things — it keeps the jet leg short from London, Paris and the Alps, and it puts the aircraft within easy reach of the whole Riviera di Levante, from Portofino and Santa Margherita down to the Cinque Terre.
A helicopter finish from Genoa to the Portofino area is possible and is arranged through licensed rotary operators, subject to daylight, weather and landing-site permission; many guests simply prefer the drive or a boat along the coast. We hold the road transfer as the standing arrangement and add the rotary leg where it genuinely improves the day.
Airports used for Portofino charter
- LIMJ / GOA — Genoa Cristoforo Colombo: The gateway for Portofino and the Riviera di Levante; executive handling, short coast-road transfer
- LIML / LIN — Milan Linate: Alternative when Genoa handling or the inbound routing does not suit
- LIRP / PSA — Pisa International: Southern alternative for itineraries combining Portofino with Tuscany
Slots, permits and curfews
Genoa is not slot-coordinated on the Milan or Nice scale, but executive parking and handling should be confirmed ahead in the summer season, when Ligurian leisure traffic concentrates into weekends. Night arrivals are normally available with advance notice. Helicopter legs are planned in daylight and remain weather- and permission-dependent.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
