Private Jet Charter El Gouna
El Gouna has no airport of its own. Private flights arrive at Hurghada International (HEGN/HRG) and continue north by road — a short, straightforward transfer to the marina, the hotel strip and the residential lagoons. That single fact drives the whole trip plan: the aviation work happens at Hurghada, the arrival experience happens at El Gouna, and the two need to be joined up before the aircraft lands.
Flying privately to El Gouna
Hurghada is a busy leisure airport with heavy charter-airline traffic in the European winter and around Egyptian public holidays. It is not difficult for business aviation, but parking, handling slots and the arrival hall at peak hours reward advance coordination rather than same-day improvisation. Executive handling is arranged through the airport's ground handling agents, and customs and immigration are completed at Hurghada.
Most El Gouna movements are leisure: long weekends from Cairo and the Gulf, family groups for school holidays, kitesurfing and diving seasons, and owners visiting property. We plan the road transfer, arrival assistance and any onward marina or resort handover as part of the trip rather than leaving it to the guest.
Airports used for El Gouna charter
- HEGN / HRG — Hurghada International: The arrival airport for El Gouna — short road transfer north to the marina and resorts
- HESH / SSH — Sharm El Sheikh International: Across the Gulf of Suez; used when Hurghada handling hours or parking do not work
- HECA / CAI — Cairo International: National gateway for long-haul arrivals with a short domestic hop
Slots, permits and curfews
Hurghada is not slot-coordinated in the European sense, but PPR and parking need confirming in peak leisure weeks and around Egyptian holidays. Egyptian landing and overflight permits are filed by the operating AOC holder; lead times are routine outside peak periods. Night arrivals are normally available with advance notice.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
