Private Jet Charter Olbia
Olbia is the gateway to the Costa Smeralda and, for a few weeks each summer, one of the hardest airports in Europe to arrange a private flight into. The aircraft is rarely the problem; the parking is.
Flying privately to Olbia
Costa Smeralda Airport (LIEO/OLB) sits minutes from Olbia and around 30 to 40 minutes from Porto Cervo, with business aviation handling and a well-drilled summer operation. From late July through August slots are restricted and overnight parking is effectively unavailable, so aircraft drop passengers and reposition — commonly to Cagliari, Alghero, Rome or the Italian mainland — and the return leg is positioned back in.
Many arrivals end on a yacht, so the tender and berth timing decide the useful arrival window. Figari (LFKF) in southern Corsica is an occasional alternative for the northern Bocche di Bonifacio charters, and Alghero (LIEA/AHO) and Cagliari (LIEE/CAG) serve the rest of the island.
Airports used for Olbia charter
- LIEO / OLB — Olbia Costa Smeralda: Primary gateway for Porto Cervo and the north-east coast
- LIEA / AHO — Alghero: North-west Sardinia; frequent repositioning and parking option
- LIEE / CAG — Cagliari Elmas: Southern Sardinia and the main repositioning field in season
Slots, permits and curfews
Olbia applies slot restrictions in the summer peak and overnight parking is severely limited in August; drop-and-go with repositioning is the normal pattern rather than an exception. Requests for Friday and Sunday movements in August need the earliest possible lead time.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
