Private Jet Charter Djerba
Djerba is Tunisia's island resort market and the country's second charter gateway after Tunis. Demand is strongly seasonal — May to September carries most private movements, largely from France, Italy and the Gulf — while the winter months are quiet and availability comfortable.
Flying privately to Djerba
Djerba–Zarzis (DTTJ/DJE) is a straightforward airport to operate into, with a long runway, general aviation handling and short transfers to the island hotels and Zarzis on the mainland. Tunis–Carthage (DTTA/TUN) remains the national gateway, and Monastir (DTMB/MIR) and Sfax (DTTX/SFA) cover the central coast.
Tunisia is outside Schengen, so customs and immigration are handled at Djerba with the agent. Summer weekends are the pinch point: parking and handling slots fill around the scheduled leisure programme, and positioning legs from Europe drive most of the cost on short island trips.
Airports used for Djerba charter
- DTTJ / DJE — Djerba–Zarzis: Island gateway; long runway and short resort transfers
- DTTA / TUN — Tunis–Carthage: National gateway; usual pairing on multi-stop Tunisian trips
- DTMB / MIR — Monastir Habib Bourguiba: Central coast alternative with leisure traffic
- DTTX / SFA — Sfax Thyna: Southern commercial centre; limited handling hours
Slots, permits and curfews
Djerba is not slot-coordinated in the European sense, but summer parking and handling capacity are finite and confirmed in advance for peak weekends. Tunisian landing and overflight permits are filed by the operating AOC holder with short lead times outside holiday peaks; customs and immigration take place with the handling agent.

How MEGA arranges the flight
MEGA arranges every flight through registered third-party operators. Aircraft, crew, permits, slots and handling are confirmed per trip and per date, so nothing on this page is an availability guarantee.
Send the route, dates, passenger count and any medical, pet, cargo or ground-transport requirement and the desk returns written aircraft options with the operating structure set out. One team quotes the trip and then runs it.
