Oversize and Heavy Air Cargo Charter
Oversize cargo is a geometry problem before it is a weight problem. If the piece does not fit through the door, no amount of payload capacity helps.
- Largest-piece dimensions assessed against door apertures and cargo hold contours.
- Floor loading and point-load limits checked before an aircraft is committed.
- Nose-loading and main-deck options where a side door will not accept the piece.
- Cradles, skids and lashing plans coordinated with your forwarder.
- Energy, mining, industrial and broadcast project freight.
- Ground handling equipment confirmed at both ends, not assumed.
The questions that decide the aircraft
Length, width and height of the single largest piece; its weight and its centre of gravity; whether it can be tilted; and whether the origin and destination airports have the loaders and ramp equipment to handle it. We ask for these before quoting because an aircraft that fits the tonnage but not the geometry is not a solution.
Ground is half the job
Many oversize movements are decided by ramp equipment rather than airframe. Where the receiving airport lacks a suitable loader, we plan for self-loading aircraft or an alternate field with road transfer. Our global support desk coordinates the ground side.

Frequently asked questions
How do I charter an aircraft for oversize cargo?
Send the exact dimensions and weight of the largest single piece with a photograph or drawing. We check those figures against aircraft door apertures, floor loading limits and loading equipment before quoting.
What is the heaviest cargo you can charter?
That depends on the aircraft available for your routing. Loads that exceed narrowbody freighter limits are assessed for widebody or outsize freighter options, subject to availability at the time.
