Dubai International for private flights
Dubai International sits inside the city, which is its whole advantage: from the VIP facility you are minutes from Deira and around twenty minutes from Downtown in reasonable traffic. For short turnarounds, meetings in the DIFC area, or itineraries that connect to a scheduled long-haul flight, that proximity is worth more than a quieter ramp.
The trade-off is congestion. DXB is one of the world's busiest international airports, so private movements sit alongside heavy airline traffic. Departure and arrival timings are subject to slot availability, and ramp parking for based and visiting business jets is limited compared with Al Maktoum.
In practice we quote both airports for Dubai trips and let the schedule decide. If you are staying south or west of the city, or arriving in a large-cabin aircraft during a peak week, DWC usually wins. If you are staying in the older city or connecting airside, DXB does.
Ground handling and terminals
