Pet-Friendly Private Jet Charter
On a private jet your dog or cat does not travel in a crate in the hold. They travel in the cabin, beside you, on the same seat discipline as any member of the family. We plan the flight, the paperwork and the arrival so the animal simply comes along.
Pets travel in the cabin with you, not in the hold. Documentation and import requirements planned per destination. Licensed third-party operators; a senior controller owns your trip.

How pets actually travel on a private jet
On a commercial flight, a pet too large for the cabin goes in the hold. On a private jet that distinction disappears: a dog lies on the cabin floor beside your seat or on a divan; a cat travels in its carrier on the seat next to you. The crew know the animal is coming, water and feeding follow your instructions, and cabin temperature and pressurisation are set for the whole cabin. Elderly animals, flat-faced breeds that airlines restrict and anxious rescues all become workable. What remains is the paperwork, which is a planning problem, not a mystery.
We ask about the animals at the same time we ask about the people: species, breed, weight, temperament and what documentation exists already. A pet passport and a valid titre test from a previous trip can shorten the runway considerably.
Breeds, sizes and numbers
There is no seat map for pets, but there are practical shapes. A toy breed travels anywhere; a large dog needs floor it can actually occupy, which points to a super-midsize cabin or larger on anything beyond a short hop. Certain breeds face destination-level restrictions — the UAE maintains a restricted breed list — which is a reason to plan early with the current rules confirmed against your animal, route and dates.
Corridors we fly with pets
- London to Dubai or Abu Dhabi — relocations, second homes and seasonal travel; UK export paperwork and UAE import permits planned together.
- Gulf to London for the summer — UK pet entry requirements are specific and lead times matter.
- Paris, Geneva and the Riviera — short European sectors; EU pet passport rules apply on entry.
- Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam — Saudi import permits arranged in advance, with lead time built into the schedule.
- New York and Miami to the Gulf — ultra-long-range aircraft, with feeding and rest planned for a long sector.
- Multi-pet and relocation moves — households, staff and animals coordinated by one controller.
Choosing the aircraft around the animal
- Light and midsize jets — one or two small pets on short sectors; floor space is the constraint.
- Super-midsize jets — a wider, flatter cabin floor suits a medium or large dog on longer sectors.
- Large-cabin and ultra-long-range jets — multiple pets, large breeds or long sectors, with galley support for feeding and water.
- VIP airliners — full household relocations with staff and animals together.

Arrival and documentation, by destination
Most destinations work from the same foundation: an ISO microchip, a current rabies vaccination recorded after the chip, and an official health certificate issued close to travel. Some add a rabies antibody titre test with a waiting period, an import permit, or both. The order matters, and the binding word always sits with the receiving authority — we confirm the current requirement with them before you commit.
United Arab Emirates: an import permit arranged in advance, with breed restrictions applied to certain dog types; the animal clears alongside you through the private terminal. Saudi Arabia: an import permit from the relevant Saudi authority, with lead times built into the schedule. United Kingdom and European Union: microchip, rabies vaccination, an animal health certificate or valid pet passport, and in some cases tapeworm treatment for dogs within a defined window; UK arrivals use approved airports, which we confirm for your dates.
Pet-friendly charter — FAQs
Does my pet really travel in the cabin with me?
Yes — dogs and cats travel in the passenger cabin beside you, on the floor, a seat or a divan, or in a carrier on the seat. There is no hold and no separation.
What documents does my pet need to fly into the UAE?
Typically an ISO microchip, current rabies vaccination, an official health certificate and a UAE import permit arranged in advance, with breed restrictions for certain dog types. Current requirements are confirmed with the UAE authorities when we quote.
Can I fly to the UK with my dog on a private jet?
Yes, through approved UK arrival points, with the standard UK pet entry requirements. We confirm the approved airport and documentation timing for your dates.
Is there a limit on how many pets I can bring?
No fixed limit on our side — the practical limit is the cabin. Three or more pets, or mixed species, point to a large-cabin jet. Destination import rules may cap numbers per person, confirmed at quoting.
My dog is a large breed. Can it still fly in the cabin?
Yes — large breeds are one of the most common reasons people charter. The requirement is floor space, usually a super-midsize cabin or larger.
Are some breeds restricted?
Restrictions sit with destinations, not the aircraft. The UAE maintains a restricted breed list. Tell us the breed when you enquire and we will confirm what applies for your route.
How much does a pet-friendly private charter cost?
There is no fixed figure. Price is built from aircraft category, route, positioning, dates, passenger and baggage load, handling and permits. Every request is quoted individually.
Can you also move our horse or falcons?
Yes — see our horse air transport and live animal charter pages, or mention it in the notes and one controller will plan the whole movement.
