The Delhi corridor

Delhi is the natural departure point for North India's pilgrimage travel — families from the capital and the NCR, business groups, and the delegations that move between the two capitals throughout the year. The sector to Jeddah runs about five hours, which keeps the aircraft field wide: unlike the ten-hour sectors from Southeast Asia, it is flown non-stop by super-midsize and heavy cabins. The corridor also carries a protocol layer, handled with discretion — no published names, no photographed departures. What does not change is the Saudi end: permits, slots, private terminal handling and apron parking behave exactly as they do for a ten-hour sector, and during Ramadan and Hajj they decide whether your dates work.

The sectors, and the honest distances

What flies this corridor non-stop

A super-midsize jet is the practical family choice — non-stop from Delhi with a full party, a stand-up cabin and an enclosed lavatory. A heavy jet adds divided cabin zones, a forward galley and the baggage volume a pilgrimage group returns with. A VIP airliner keeps a delegation or several families on one aircraft. Ultra-long-range aircraft suit itineraries continuing to Europe, the Gulf or East Africa. Full specifications are on the charter fleet pages.

Arriving in Saudi Arabia

Jeddah (JED / OEJN) is the closest gateway to Makkah, handled through the Royal Terminal or executive general aviation facility with private immigration and customs. Madinah (MED / OEMA) is quieter with a short drive into the city. At the Indian end, executive terminal departure, customs and immigration coordination and vehicle access are arranged with the handling agent at Delhi; for delegations, protocol handling and convoy coordination are arranged at both ends. Outside peak windows one to two weeks is usually comfortable; for Ramadan aim for four to eight weeks and considerably longer for Hajj. Cabin arrangements for Ihram and Meeqat and the seasonal detail sit on our Umrah and Hajj charter hub, with Saudi private jet terminals and Jeddah charter alongside.

Questions we are asked on this corridor

Can a private jet fly non-stop from Delhi to Jeddah?

Yes. The sector is within range of the larger super-midsize cabins and any heavy jet with a full party and baggage, and is normally planned non-stop.

How long is the flight from Delhi to Jeddah by private jet?

Flown non-stop, varying with aircraft type, routing and winds.

Is chartering for Umrah from Delhi realistic for one family?

Yes — the sector sits at the comfortable end of the range chart, so the aircraft that fly it non-stop are the same categories a family would charter for any long leisure trip.

Can you handle an official or family-office delegation?

Yes — protocol handling, VIP terminal arrangements, convoy coordination and discretion at both ends.

Can we enter Ihram on board?

Yes. Aircraft with an enclosed changing area and appropriate lavatory are sought and the operator briefed in advance; Meeqat notification is requested per flight.
